Pickle has been shown lightly, and won some gelding classes. He has a lovely temperament, which makes him an ideal companion to young colts. His dam is on the Gallery page. We have recently sold him to a lovely new home, and he has gone with Byways Picotee, so it is nice that they have stayed together.

This much-loved gelding was shown very successfully over the years, but we now mainly concentrate on showing miniatures. We enjoy having just a few standard ponies still, as we have always had both. His dam is on our Gallery page.

	Kerswell Sapphire

This lovely Kerswell mare is now retired from breeding, and is living permanently with Rum of Brindister which seems to be an "ideal arrangement" for both of them! Her famous sire is on our Gallery page.

	Kerswell Rebecca

Becky had her last foal four years ago, on 31st January - not a good time! Also she had very little milk, and then stopped eating! Her colt foal, Byways Roulette was a real fighter though, and after numerous visits from the vet for either or both of them in his first week, he survived and has a super home "next door" to us, so we still see him a lot which is nice. He was born liver chestnut and white, but turned blue roan and white after his sire Rum of Brindister. Becky now has a lovely home as a companion on a small-holding also near us, so we see her often too.

We have now sold Dotty to Christine Hollis (Rosebriar Stud), where she is very well and happy. She will run with Rosebriar Magic this year.

We sold Bracken when she was six years old to a lovely home, and then bought her back when she was eighteen to retire here. She is a very attractive looking mare, and has a really large eye, and is a lovely colour. We have shown her lightly in Mixed Veteran classes and she has always been placed.

	Byways Moon Magic

We brought this much-loved daughter of Moth, who did so well showing for us when we lived on the Mainland, over to the Island with us as a yearling. We showed her very successfully in Mixed Mountain and Moorland Youngstock classes here, and now she is on loan to a friend, who drives her very successfully, and Magic loves it. 	Byways Merry Melody
	Mare. Born in 1992, 38 inches, Black. Studbook Number: T/F Sire: Perception of Netherley Dam: Merry Molinia of Netherley
Midge, as she has always been known because she was such an outward going foal so Gordon called her the "Mighty Midget" !! We bred her and Magic the same year, and brought both of them with us to the Island as yearlings. We did sell her when she was six years old, and she was driven successfully then, but she has been back with us for nearly two years now, and we are very pleased to have her back.

	Byways Picotee
	Colt, Born in June 2007, 30 inches, Bay Roan. Studbook Number: AT2549 Sire: Byways Muskit Dam: Byways Picola
We had Picotee gelded last Autumn, and have recently sold him to a lovely home. He has gone together with Byways Piccolino, and his dam, Byways Picola is also there already, so it is really nice to know that they are all together.

	Eiger Jemma

Jemma did very well being shown last year, and we hope she will do well for us again this season. She has a lovely temperament, and is a pleasure to show.

	Tawna Moonbeam

Carole Pearce and I have bought Moonbeam between us and she was shown lightly last year with success. We hope to show her again this season, as she is a pleasure to take out, and is very easy to do in all ways.

	Rosebriar Poppy

Poppy was shown as a yearling with great success, achieving a Res. Jun. Championship, and several First places. We hope to show her again this season when we can. She is definitely blue roan, and with her abundance of hair will hopefully look striking when she has her summer coat.

	Tawna Darcy

Penny Green now owns Darcy completely, and is very pleased with her. She has a lovely temperament, and she will be shown by Penny this season.

	Merrylees Sugarbabe

We bought Sugarbabe as a weaned foal last Autumn, and hope to show her this season. She has a lovely temperament, moves well, and has good confirmation, so we are very pleased with her.

	Rosebriar Rosalee
	Filly Born in 2009, blue roan Stud-Book Number AW 2798 Sire: Kerswell Cavalier AE 2293 Dam: Kerswell Roselle AR 2011
We have had Rosalee on loan from Christine Hollis (Rosebriar Stud) to live with Sugarbabe as company for them both when they came in at night through the winter. She is a lovely well-bred filly with double Kerswell bloodlines. She has her dam's inquisitive nature, and presence, so we hope she will show well later on.

We are not breeding any more foals in the future as neither Gordon or I are in very good health now. We still hope to go to some shows which are not too far away this season, showing our young fillies, and will see how we get on.

We have sold several ponies as we are cutting down on our numbers, and will be cutting back even more at the end of this year's showing season. So please watch this page, as we will probably have some young fillies for sale then.
